The footage from Shackle-me-not is skating that I can still watch and enjoy to this day. Matt's style is timeless and for its time, the skating was one some of the most innovative around. I remember watching Shackle for the first time and I did not get past Matt's section before all of us watching it that day, felt a group compulsion to go skating. I ended up buying that Vid and watched it compulsively (just the street parts natch). I also bought Matt's first pro board. The wood kinda sucked on it though. I still have it in storage though. Matt was my biggest skate influence in my early years. Rad times. Thanks Matt for what you did for skating. Legend.

Once upon a time air travel was a great deal simpler than it is today.
