GILBERT CROCKETT
INTERVIEW

What’s been eating Gilbert Crockett? That’s what we we’ve been wondering since his recent sponsor changes and move back to Virginia. So we tracked him down and got the scoop on that and few other topics like his naked filmer buddy, his acting debut and how he doesn’t have OCD.

PORTLAND
THE RISE ABOVE RAINFALL

While Portland is best known for being pounded by a perpetual downpour of rain and the Burnside park, there’s a thriving skate scene scattered about that’s not dissuaded by the cold dampness of this northwestern city. Once just a stop on a road trip during the summer dry months, more and more pro skaters are now coming through and staying for good, making Portland their home year round.

Awesome shot! Virginia is the shit, so glad he reps it hard! What that angle doesn't show is how insane that spot really is. There is about 6 feet of run-up which is actually a big ass rock. And that photo definitely doesn't show how steep that landing really is, which also happens to be another big ass rock.

Skateboarder Magazine is far better than Transworld, Thrasher, and the Skate Mag BY FAR so...how can you say that a catalog is better than a magazine at being a magazine when it isn't even a magazine?
