We at Skateboardermag.com have been meaning to sit down and get a few words from Tommy Sandoval for a while now. But, since he's currently laid up with 13 staples in his leg, we had to email him some questions instead. Somehow those same questions ended up in the mailbox of Chris Cole. Since Chris is a nice guy and knew Tommy was down, he went ahead and answered the questions for Tommy, as if he was Tommy. And though we did get answers back from Tommy we though we’d give you both anyway.

Crazy thoughts

What did you do In Chula Vista before you got into skating?
Went to school, rode bikes, caused havoc.

Give me your greatest Tyrone Olson moment?
We were Chill’n in LA, and got pulled over, and T-Bone had a warrant. We almost had to hitchhike back to Chula.

After workin in the Zero Where house how did it feel when Jamie told you could skate full time?
Like someone gave me a endless vacation.

What did you do to earn those staples in your leg?
I caught the corner of a metal edge box.. I saw all the way through to my bone.

What keep you going when your shit starts hurting?
feeling of accomplishment and giving it all I can.

Tommy's style is one of the most great styles in the world. I mean he kills grinds and knows what he's doing and all that. He's my favourite skater in skate videos and in teams. Keep it up Tommy, you're sick and a stylish skater too. Die trying man!

Tommy is pretty siick. I got to see the guns in his stomach.pretty sexy stuff. I took pictures of his tricks..and guess what? NONE OF THEM CAME OUT. it was a old school film camera. anyway, im pretty bummed. I hope I get to see him skate again sometime.(; Chulaa Visstaa baaby<3

Tommy has the sickest part in fallen ride the sky. He has one of the best styles I've ever seen. Other than that he has sweet boards like the zero gunslinger and the sandoval bold deck.he's one of the best pros I've ever seen in years.
