Lucas on Joey

It’s not too often that I get to skate with Joey but the Gypsy Tour we were on a couple of years back was really sick. And last month, I got to spend a month in LA with him and it was great. I got to hang out in Venice while he cooked amazing Mexican food for Charles and I. We just kicked it and it felt more like home in Toulouse. He’s good fun to be around and kills it on his board. Oh yeah, a few years back, we were in the Canary Islands taking a cab back to the apartment at like 5 a.m. and he dropped the stinkiest fart ever. We were just cracking up and the driver stopped and kicked him out in the middle of nowhere. That shit was too funny, Jojo. C’est de la balle.

Lucas Puig...one word, amazing. If you ever get a chance to see him skate in person, I’m sure he will blow your mind. He’s all terrain from tranny to mannies. He will land some f**ked up shit for sure. I took him to Six Flags and it wasn’t the same with the roller coasters. He wouldn’t wait in line because of something about eight loops and not being hyped. The guy is super mellow. If you see him around the U.S. say bonjour.
