ANALOG CLOTHING ANNOUNCES NEW GLOBAL MARKETING DIRECTOR
ANALOG CLOTHING NAMES MAURICE TORRES AS GLOBAL MARKETING DIRECTOR California-based action sports brand begins a new era with new lead of marketing
Irvine, Calif. (May 17, 2007) – Maurice Torres has joined the Analog team as the new global marketing director. Mo started in his new position last month and has hit the ground running since his arrival. Mo brings with him over 16 years of marketing experience and has an extensive background in the music and advertising sectors.
“Mo fits our culture perfectly, entrenched in surf/snow and committed to the skate culture,” says Jerry Lund, General Manager of Analog. “We are excited to have such a strong player with such a diverse background on our team. His signature will be seen not only in marketing but in product and sales.”
Mo was born and raised in the quintessential Southern California way, on surfing and punk rock, beginning his career in the music business working over nine years for Dr. Dream Records and other labels. He then went onto advertising at McElroy Communications, the preeminent action sports advertising agency, working closely with action sports and youth market majors, and then landing at Quiksilver where he spent the next four years. Mo’s strong ties to the music world also include playing in bands including The Grabbers, The Shutdowns and Manic Hispanic. Mo’s passion for surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding and music makes him a welcome addition to the Analog family. “Analog is the perfect fit, I’m stoked to be working with this crew,” said Mo on working at Analog.
About Analog Analog is a clothing company based in Irvine, CA whose only goal is to create outside the lines and push creativity and individuality in skateboarding, surfing and snowboarding.
