THE ZOO YORK INSTITUTE PRESENTS:
2007 Z.Y. SPRING BREAK TOUR

NEW YORK, NY – March 7, 2007 – Following in the hallowed tradition of college students far and wide, the Zoo Crew is packing its bags and heading down to the Sunshine State for the first-ever Z.Y. Spring Break Tour.

From March 16th – 25th, Zoo’s world-renowned skateboarding team will hit eight Florida cities to host demos and in-store autograph signings. The entire squad will be along for the ride including Z.Y. Officials Zered Bassett, Aaron Suski, Donny Barley, Kevin Taylor, Forrest Kirby, Brandon Westgate, Anthony Shetler, Matt Miller, Lamare Hemmings, and Ron Deily.

The 2007 Z.Y. Spring Break Tour will kick off at the Skatepark of Tampa on March 16th where Zered, KT, and Shetler will battle it out in the Tampa Pro Contest. From there, the team will hit Tarpon Springs, Orlando, Vero Beach, West Palm Beach, Deerfield Beach, Fort Lauderdale, and Miami.

To close out the tour in high style, a special blow-out bash in conjunction with MIA Skateshop will go down Sunday night, March 25th, at Miami Beach hot-spot, Purdy Lounge (located at 1811 Purdy Ave). This special edition of Chocolate Sundays will feature beats from a slew of noteworthy DJ’s including five-time DMC World DJ Champion, A-Trak. And of course, the entire Zoo Crew will be in full-effect all night to bring the ruckus! Doors open at 10PM; must be 21+ to enter.

03/21 – Vero Beach, FL – Signing, New Blood (4pm)

03/23 – Deerfield Beach, FL – Signing – Island Water Sport (5pm) // Demo, Ramp 48 (6pm)

03/24 – Fort Lauderdale, FL – Signing, BC Surf & Sport (2pm)

03/25 – Miami, FL – Demo, MIA Skateshop (4pm) // Z.Y. Party, Purdy Lounge (10pm)
