The NY stop of the Simpsons World Tour will feature over 100 Bart Simpsons, customized by cutting edge artists from around the world.
“TOY2R, Diamond Comics and Toy Tokyo have assembled a virtual "who's who" list of today's hottest pop culture artists, designers and illustrators from around the world. Each original figure has been painted, sculpted, and customized to illustrate each artist's own unique re-interpretation of the iconic character, Bart Simpson, using as a blank canvas the 10" D.I.Y. Bart Simpson Blank Qee Figure. Many of these artists have either grown up watching THE SIMPSONS or were inspired by its creativity, humor or sardonic look at life. To bring these original creations to the fans, TOY2R and Diamond Comics launched this worldwide art gallery tour stopping at respected galleries and art boutiques across the globe.”
An advance V.I.P. viewing of the figures will be held on September 14th from 7pm to 11pm. The show will then be open to the public on September 15th and 16th from 2pm to 7pm.
