Boost Mobile Presents the Original éS Game of SKATE 2007!

Get those flatground skills polished—Boost Mobile presents the Original éS Game of SKATE for 2007, and we’re hitting more stops than ever. With 27 U.S. qualifying locations and even more regional feeder events, each event will be swarming with skaters trying to knock each other out for their chance to shine. The winner at each stop will win a top-of-the-line Boost Mobile i885 mp3 / camera phone and will also earn an all-expenses paid trip to sunny California to compete in the Amateur World Championships at the Action Sports Retailer Show in San Diego, California on September 8, 2007, courtesy of éS Footwear and Boost Mobile. Each qualifying winner will also take home a Nixon Score watch, complete with a S-K-A-T-E score keeper, and bearings from SKF.

Last September, a relatively unknown skater named Alex Mizurov took the skateboard world by storm when he won the éS Game of SKATE Europe Championships and was flown to the World Championships at ASR. Not only did Alex take the Am Championships, but he took home ten grand in the éS Game of SKATE finals by knocking out a field of well-established pros.

The Original éS Game of SKATE is presented by Boost Mobile and is scheduled to start on June 2, 2007 at APB Skate Shop in Honolulu, Hawaii. The 2007 Finals are set for ASR on September 8 at 1:00 p.m., and this year’s event will be a bit different than in the past: The field of skaters will be limited to 32, and will be determined by invitation only. Spotlight Productions will be running the contest with the éS Game of SKATE crew, so you know it’ll be legit. And the top four guys will take home a share of the purse, which doubles this year to $20,000!
