For Immediate Release

Waterville Valley Resort is again proud to give you one of the east’s favorite skate contests, The Fall Brawl!

Welcome to mayhem… The Fall Brawl is back for 2006 and looking fresh as ever with an updated double mini ramp set up. The street guys have had their run at the Fall Brawl, now its time for a little tranny! November 18, 2006 will be the day, the Boston Snowsports Show will be the place. Registration begins November 16th at the Expo and will continue until we have the 40-competitor limit maxed out. All contestants are required to pay a $30 entry fee, have a parent or guardian signature for anyone under 18, and helmets are required.

Riders will be broken down into two different age brackets; Under 15 contest begins at 2:00 p.m., and all ages starts at 3:00 p.m. Practice starts at noon! Skaters are placed in heats of five with one person being eliminated per round. The final 10 skaters will have two runs to impress the panel of judges with the best score counting. Cash prizes will be awarded to top finalists in the all age’s division. Prizes from Loon, Waterville Valley and Cranmore resorts, Oakley, Volcom, 5Boro, DC Shoes, Eastern Boarder and Waterville Valley Skateboard Camp will also be up for grabs.

The set up will be open to the public Thursday from 4-9 p.m., Friday 4-9 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. There is a $5 fee and a parent or guardian signature, and a helmet will be required to skate during these sessions.
