R.I.P. Shane Cross (1986-2007)

Shane Cross 1986-2007

20 year old Australian Flip Am Shane Cross passed away after he was in an accident while riding on the back of Ali Boulala's motorcycle. Ali survived but is currently in critical condition.

We here at Skateboarder Magazine are all saddened by this news and send our deepest sympathies to the Cross Family. We also hope to see Ali make a full recovery.

Shane Cross is my favorite skater right beside his good friend David Gonzales. He inspired to go out and really skate my ass off. It is terrible that he died on back of Ali Boula (pro skater) motorcycle but his spirit will still kick ass at skating. Shane Cross is the BEST of all the skaters. Join a killer skate team in heaven! Just watched Lets Live, on Fuel. Shane Cross was not only one of the most awesome shredders ever, but he was someone you just wanted to chill with. I'm an old Dogtown days boarder, but he reminds me of why I still love the Skateboard community.

Shane Cross is forever remembered as me hero. Kid was a BEAST!! but yeah its sad that he had to go out like that...he was makin it big...now he is bigger than ever.....i pray for the Cross family as well...my heart goes out to them....but yeah i hope Ali Baulala will do fine too...it wasnt his fault....i hope he recovers too...if anyone got a problem w/ that come deal w/ me....but i hope both of the familys can recover from this...Shane and Ali were the best.
