adidas signs Tim O’Connor to Skateboarding Team
Portland, OR - adidas welcomes Tim O’Connor as its latest rider to join the adidas Skateboarding Team.
Skate industry vet, and adidas Skateboarding Team Manager, Bryce Kanights states, "Tim's involvement and experience as a professional is a welcomed fit to our team. With his creative style and comedic wit, we're excited to have him on board. He's a true original."
Having recently signed Dennis Busenitz, O’Connor joins the growing adidas Skateboarding team as the program expands globally in 2007.
O’Connor, age 28 currently lives in Morristown, New Jersey, and for many years he's been a familiar force within the East coast skate scene. From Philly's Love Park to charging the streets of NYC, O’Connor is a welcome east coast rider to the expanding adidas Skateboarding program. His other sponsors include: Habitat Skateboards, Quiksilver, Venture Trucks, NJ Skateshop
When asked about what it meant to join the brand, Tim said, "I’m crazy hyped on being teammates with Dennis Busenitz and the one and only human known as Mark Gonzales. The Gonz has been one of my favorite skaters since long before I even got down with puberty and he still continues to
inspire me to this day."
Familiar with the adidas heritage, O’Connor added, “I’m psyched and happy to be under the adidas roof where tons of timeless original shoes have already come from. All hail Shelltoes."
