2008 Vans Downtown Showdown Updates on This Year’s Epic Event Including Chosen Obstacles, Expected Riders and Where to Watch!

Get ready to see skateboarding’s top pros and ams shred for their chance at $85,000 as the 4th Annual Downtown Showdown invades Paramount Studios’ Back Lot this Saturday, October 11. The top teams in skateboarding including Foundation, Toy Machine, Girl, Habitat, Deluxe, Creature, Black Label and Blind each submitted plans for obstacles and Vans has picked the best of the bunch!

Girl’s 3 Pump Dump, Black Label’s Dive Bar, Creature’s Five Points of Pure Evil and Foundation’s Lunar Eclipsey Hubba have been chosen and custom built as part of this year’s Showdown course.

Expected skaters include Omar Hassan, Johnny Layton, Angel Ramirez, Alex Olson, Keegan Sauder, Billy Marks, Josh Harmony, Corey Duffel, David Reyes, Stefan Janoski, Raymond Molinar, Al Partanen, Neil Heddings, David Gravette, Mike Mo Capaldi, Guy Mariano, Marc Johnson, Ronnie Creager, Grant Patterson, Jake Duncombe, Mike Vallely, Chris Senn, Tony Tave, Chris Cole, John Rattray, Adam Alfaro, Shuriken Shannon, Chris Troy and more!
