Elemental Awareness
Elemental Awareness hosted the second annual Battle in Borrego which went off this Saturday at the Borrego Badlands Skate Park in inland San Diego. Local skaters ripped up the excellent concrete park the Boys and Girls Club has out there in Borrego Springs. It was an evening contest and it was invigorating to skate under the bright lights surrounded by desert mountains and stars. Every skater who entered received a set of wheels, a shirt, and a sticker pack. First place winners were; 13 and under- Scott Jones, 14-17- Jacob Fowler, and Jordan Gruner took home top spot in 18 and over. Elemental Awareness would like to thank Christine Wenzel from the Boys and Girls Club for making this event possible along with our sponsors Element Skateboards and Shark Energy Drink. In addition Jacob Fowler also received a full scholarship to Element YMCA Skate Camp. We'll see you there this summer.
The next Elemental Awareness event will be a S.K.A.T.E. Tournament Saturday June 3rd at The Camp in Costa Mesa. Holla!
